Basic Gunboat missles

Do you use GB missiles on any of your GBs Dod..?

No because I don't fly gunboats.

I was merely pointing out the hypocrisy in the post I quoted.

When missiles don't track, because the server is full, I don't blame my skillz.

Flying a missile boat when the server is full is not the wisest choice. Blame your judgement or technology, your call.

Truth however is that no amount of skill will make missiles that hardly ever track and use up to half of your core (powercore of small capital ship) for ONLY shield damage that is even lower than fighter missile...

Fighter at least can allign itself to target so even non-tracking missile can hit, skill CAN help you there but i will be dammed if you manage to allign a GB against a fighter with at least mediocre skill.

Also, if i may ask Dod. You claim that you dont fly any gunboats yet your response is "Stop whining about GB missiles and better your skills. rtfm.gif". I will make a very bold request. Please, lay of such comments if you dont even fly GBs, much less, use missiles. I dare say that your experience in this subject is lacking at best. Sorry...

As a rule of a thumb you can't compare stats of weapons of different classes as nothing slightly sensible has ever come out of it.

Okay, that post was not directed at you but solely to mr. Ships who has granted himself exclusive rights to comment on balance while proposing everyone who thinks otherwise should "better his skills" or be muted.
I solely offered him to try his own cure.

Hell, there should be a rule "Don't complain about balance, just better your skills. Failure to do so will result in a temporary mute of your forum account"

And please, do something about gunboat missiles. As they are now, its NOT acceptable. Think of a better way to balance stuff, before making it useless, please.
