Les Brigands De Tartuffe have been around a long time, existing as a brigand group that preyed upon mercantile folk long before Le Tartuffe had even thought about conning the Corse. They've long been a thorn in the sides of corporations like EFL and IDF, causing the loss of many shipments headed for the front lines. Like many Brigand groups Tartuffe's power comes not in the form of leadership, but in his ability to mediate between disputes. Not so foolish is he that he would risk the enmity of his allies in order to exercise control. Though in true Brigand style, there is an open pool on how long it takes for him to crack and go full megalomaniac.
Tartuffe's Brigands are a loose affiliation of pirates, murderers, and thieves. Striking at shipping they find within Gallia, no merchant of wares is safe from their gaze. Taking particular dislike to all things mercantile from Sirius, They make this enmity quite clear by charging them double what they would charge any Gallic company's vessels. Tartuffe also hires his Brigands out as distractions for Maquis or Corse endeavours, allowing them to perform their tasks without the interference of the GRP. How those two entities look upon this motley band is entirely irrelevant to them.
A significant portion of their income is spent on paying off the GRP, for a certain fee a certain amount of activity is left unnoticed by the GRP, go above that level though and the GRP become all business again, shooting any GRN vessels is also cause for direct GRP involvement.
Les Brigands De Tartuffe operate mostly out of Narbonne Base in Languedoc, though supply convoys out to other Brigand bases are common, Tartuffe runs the station in name, but ultimately the base ticks along with only marginal interference. This frees up Les Brigands for more interesting work like hitting the shipping heading into Dauphine.
The day to day operations of these Brigands is not much different from other brigands, extortion, robbery, smuggling. Cargo runs further afield are becoming more commonplace as Les Brigands hire pilots to transport Slaves and Nox out to Malta and Rogue bases in and around Liberty.
A recent undertaking by Les brigands is the Port Franc Gallia, ostensibly a Freeport that hovers around the edge worlds of Gallia proper. In truth it's a haven for smugglers, pirates and all manner of ill intentioned folks. Anything can be purchased there for a reasonable price, and though life may be cheap, death certainly isn't. Assassinations of key people can reach upwards of 25 million credits. Le Tartuffe uses the "freeport" to hide runs of slaves to Malta and it's many compartments and secret spaces make it an ideal vessel for cardamine smuggling.

Would probably be a good idea to mention the Legion in your write-up. I mean, I'd be interested in seeing how the traditional old-school Brigand gangs would have reacted to a regiment of GRN defecting and taking control of the organisation.
How did Tartuffe's men deal with it? With open arms, sensing new opportunities? With enmity, but grudging cooperation? With open hostilities that continue to this day? There's a lot of potential for inter-gang diplomacy to develop, so long as you're both willing to work at that angle.
Might help with activity for both sides. Might be worth trying to set up a Brigand Council, too. I think there was one mentioned in rumours. Not entirely sure on that point.
It's actually great to see another Brigand faction. As Jammi pointed out, the implementation of inter-gang diplomacy would be a nice idea. I also had a concept of a Brigand faction in mind, and seeing that more Brigand players appear each day, I think it's time for me to actually start implementing my little project too. Had to delay it due to studying.
Anyway, the presence of more than one brigand group would make implementing the concept of the Brigand Conclave (I still think that it'd be a better name than the Council of the Brigand Elders) possible.
So, I do wish you good luck, and hope to see you in game.
As yet Les Brigands are not sure HOW to deal with the LE. But they are currently hanging around Brigand turf doing vaguely brigandish things. We're not going to shoot at them though, but we will keep a watchful eye.

I would like to ask if there are any roleplay differences between you and LE or you are just a different gang. And if you are going to open up recruitment.
RP differences? Yes, a lot. We're brigands for a start. We rob, cheat and steal. We do not hunt the GRN, we want more of the foreign black markets. We'll be working with Rogues and Casts's as various news and rumours suggest we do. We certainly won't want Liberty getting a hold of Brigand tech either. While we have no love for the Crown, we aren't fond of foreigners either. We work with them for the money.
We're a decentralised group as well, Tartuffe is a mediator, he doesn't lead, Les Brigands largely do whatever makes the group money.
As for recruitment. That's been rather swift so far, and as a result in four days we've got 10 folks. That's enough right now, we really need to get our feet on the floor before we start a thread recruiting and stuffz
