' Wrote:*sigh*. Brimstone was fully fueled and stocked, which some people don't seem to think. Shields were active the entire time. Regardless, the base system is still in beta testing, nothing is set in stone yet.
I can assure you it was. I even said in group chat 'Oh wow, it's already out of repairs.'
I still want my base back. Or at least an answer why my base can't/won't be restored.
' Wrote:We should really take this to the discussion board, not the support board. If your base was destroyed and you don't think it should have been, you should start a new topic.
That's not even the question. If Brimstone can be restored for no apparent reason, I want mine back too. Was it destroyed due to a bug? I don't know. It happened when I was asleep. Which again, is not even the matter of the discussion.
' Wrote:Good. They should be darn near impossible to destroy given how much effort is required to build them. Why should bases be rare? So you can play with the new toys and everyone else can't?
As [KNF] we sieged a base for more than 7 hours. And that base had about 4800 basic alloy to begin with, which is considered few repair materials. It had enough H-fuel for the whole time, all we could do is the hits that trigger the shield.
Your base was not supplied so it was lost - it's not easy to take down a base. Get 2 defence platforms, stocked up with a nice amount of repairs and fuel for shield (preferred MOX or other stuff that are consumed in 2 units per 10 seconds) and viola, you got an immortal base.
A clarification on behalf of admins/devs on this would be really nice and finally put an end to this forth-and-back. Over 4 pages only talk about the reasoning of the second restoration of Brimstone Refinery and the non-restoration of other destroyed bases. It would be nice to know what to expect for the near future.
