The problem existed- a lot of people abused the ID- unlimited zoi and best BS in 4.85... many people misused it.
The way that is solved is bad- ignoring the problem as official faction does not solve it and you all go shafted. Trying to fix the problem instead of ignoring it- or fly katanas. your call.

They used the ID and ships like they were suppose to, except for a few RARE CASES.

We've tried fixing it, and no avail.

I seem to remember reading somewhere (da rulez) that the easiest SRPs to get approved are puretech ones looking for an expanded ZoI. Sounds like a not-horrible way of getting your recon cruiser into house space.

I agree that the restriction does limit the Resheph, one of the most beautiful ships in Disco, and would hope that the ship could be excluded from the rule as a whole eventually.

I don't believe it was a conspiracy I think the admins made a smart move trying to cut down on capspam and may have overcorrected just a bit. Hopefully the Resheph, or at least ones belonging to the order official faction could be excluded as they are extremely weak for cruisers, and would offer unique RP opportunities for the order sneaking around.

Well, SOMEBODY complained non stop about other Order players' capspam, and about other Order players going everywhere with their caps, while the same people who complained were those to most frequently take their caps everywhere and joined conflicts that the Order had no stake in. I think it can be called poetic justice that the same people who complained about it most, and who were ironically precicely those who took their Order caps all over the place before, are exactly those who suffer the consequences.

Actually, he even made fun of Order and Order players in system chat, which was decided to be ignored after consideration in the faction chat. Almost all Order| and related players know who this is and the incident(s).

Therefore, yes there was a problem but the way of fixing it was wrong and it became a bigger problem due to outer effects.

That incompetence ending up restricting a totally harmless ship which gives some RP options is stupid. Plain.

And "Go get a bomber" suggestion, instead of doing a cap ship RP is funny at best, two being completely different types of RP.

It is as stupid as saying a player in Liberty to go elsewhere when he/she faces with an irritating Order lolwut. Examples can be extended and expanded in number and situations.

For the sentimental hearts: "Stupid" is being used as the idea being utterly useless. Not talking about the intelligence of humans. More like a bad call, a very bad one.

Right then I've had enough of the arguing so heres the question. Will the admins change the ID so they let the Order cruiser have an extended ZOI? Because thats the thing thats really putting me off Order ships nows I may aswell waste money on a pirate cruiser. I'm not a Cap type person, hell I've spent more then 200 hours on one fighter but yeah the admins decision on the order caps spam in my opinion really was harsh. Ugh its so depressing I really wanted to RP as a order recon cruiser really badly to.

To be honest I was waiting to buy any capital ships till this version came out because of the jump drive and the Cloaking devices so my waiting didn't pay off at all since the order got completly screwed you might aswell tell the order to screw themselfs putting a big red mark where they can't go although nomad capitals can still go anywhere in the game <_< such as the the 2 that appeared in the tau system not to long ago. If you look at it RP wise Sirus will get infected again due to the lack of Order ships going around now.
