will there be a chance of code loot drops?

kill bunter missions in 47 from the fes give ~16 fighters, with infinite regens. try shooting them in an asteroid field.


the only real way for balance is to increase the number of waves of fighters, or for a ship to spawn that was copy of your own loadout

Gallia's missions make it practically impossible to do without either bomber or cap support because of the insane mission rewards almost always spawning gunboats or high.

Then, I was relieved to see that the mission was for killing gallic junkers, who apparently don't have these.

Instead, they have eagles with sets of six guardian photon blasters and all that other guard jazz for factions who have crap weapons.

But yeah, more missions with manageable but strong fighters would be nice. Preferably in a variety of locations.

i dont really mind if they did but that wasnt the initial idea. i dont think its really a good idea for them to drop codes, though it would stop code camping.

well, rather than spawning hundreds and hundreds of really crappy npcs, the idea was to spawn several dozen really really strong npcs, so to make the fight intense but not draw it out longer than it needs to be.

i think everyone has thought when you kill that last npc "yes, im done.." and then he goes "good work but your not finished.. there are more hostiles at the next waypoint" you let out a sigh of despair.. XD

but, if it were to do that and you know what you are going to face may actually be a challenge then its not so bad, but when you kill rubbish npcs, and then finally kill them whilst taking no damage, just mindlessly flying around, and then you have to go kill more rubbish npcs.. its hardly gripping..

There is a large backlog of things the dev team needs to do. Readjusting a low-used part of the game (missions for fun) that doesn't foster player interaction isn't high on our list of priority.

If you learn how to do the editing yourself, and are willing to put the legwork in, it's much more likely to be done sooner.

I'd play this game a lot more if I could have more fun outside of RP and PvP with others, timezones are a pain.
