Gate/Lane Parts are required to build Jump Drives... but not one single faction has contacted Ageira to supply them with the necessary components, except for one future project with IMG|.

Sadly, the profits for ordinary Gate/Lane Parts were not buffed as much as other commodities, and the trade-balance Devs are loathe to give one faction a monopoly over anything, even if it has a valid lore basis... At the very least, code does not yet exist which would provide greater profit for specialised haulers (think Synth Foods hauling Synth Paste and Ageira hauling G/L Parts).

I agree on the food, but not the gate/lane part. Ageira has nothing to do with jumpdrive development, nor do they work on the same technology. Kishiro developed jumpdrives independently of Gate or Lane technology. And using a restricted good like G/L Parts, something that is, by lore, illegal for any other than Ageira and DSE to transport, isn't a smart move.

I remember ages back I wanted to do something with the [HF] back before you were around, doing an under the table thing where they got a gate to Vespucci and possibly some lanes, but due to system rules designed to keep everything dull and bland it was never really a possibility. Some good ideas, but all with rawbacks that have been pointed out, and hard to implement.

Soon Rheinland will have the Synth Foods out of Stuttgart and those poor LWB farmers will be back on Planet Stuttgart. So yeah it is an option, LWB are currently useless.

Rhienland will not be removing Synth Foods unless its playerbase is also willing to RP hundreds of millions of starvation casualties and a fully collapsed economy.

Mull it over. Are you willing to devolve into pre-trade Corsairs?
