EDIT: To make my opinion clear, in-game chatlist as well as this from server statistics should be removed, it enhances powergaming.
Chatlist like it was + skype like it is = greater chance to powergaming
We can't influence skype. But we can see if we need new version of chatlist. If possible, ofc.
In the meantime, lets see about first part:
1. allmighty bribes
2. affiliations templates for factions
3. one-shot changing affiliation by shooting a player
Regarding proper IFF, I believe IDs should set it's reputation to maximum (f.e. Liberty Rogues ID sets Rogue reputation to maximum) thus preventing odd combinations using faction IDs.
In addition, general IDs should receive their dedicated IFFs to make life easier for playerbase. It's not like elite and invite only factions don't have their own IFFs, while general majority of players are left withoug specialized IFFs. Is that fair to begin with?
In my opinion, it's not and should be corrected as soon as possible.
oh, just to remind you dudes, with fog-of-war chat model we would have:
1. LF or even freighters scouts. So many nice and balanced LFs are rusting around atm. So many nice scouting systems for coin undone atm.
2. combined forces. Like GB in rolle of covering snubs, instead of GB spam. Like fighter escorts.
3. who to fck would spam battleships, when not knowing if enemy is there with 456789123 bombers?
Know your enemy. But, where's gone all the fun when we do?
