It has been some years since a Kusari man has made a good-faith effort to contact a Bretonian company. It has also been some time since the war between our nations ended.
Under most circumstances, we would already be conducting business in peaceful times. Unfortunately politics has a way of interfering in normal business practices.
I am sure we are both aware of the current circumstances. Kusari bars corporations owned by the Crown due to the safe harbour given to certain elements loyal to the old Kusari Monarchy. In turn, Bretonia bars Kusari corporations due to our involvement in the war against your nation.
I believe that we can rise above the local political constraints placed upon our respective operations. Kishiro Technologies would like to engage in fuel exports to Bretonia once more, even if it limited to preserve Bretonian honour.
I would not ask for this boon without making an offer upfront. Our operations in gas mining are done in conjunction with the GMG, outside Kusari jurisdiction.
Therefore I would like to extend an invitation to Bowex to obtain Helium-3 fuel supplies from Saitama Industrial Annexe in the Sigma-19 system. We are the closest supply point to Bretonia in all GMG space. By taking our offer, you will have access to all the available Helium-3 storage facilities in the region.
Please consider my offer Mr Cromwell. If the Bowex Board can consider this offer on its merits, perhaps it will pave the way to a more frank discussion between us.

Mr Suzuki
Mr Cromwell has asked me to inform you that he has received your message, but can not give you a formal reply at this time.
He will speak to his "contact" at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to see what political implications this could cause and will contact you in due course.
Yours sincerely,
Miss Jane Mansfield,
PA Director of Operations, Borderworlds Exports

Mr Suzuki
Good day to you. Given the animosity between our two nations, your proposal comes as an intriguing surprise. As you mentioned, we are indeed aware of the current political situation. You will consequently understand our confusion as to your apparent undermining of the policy laid out by your own 'sympathetic' government.
While we can understand the Republic's - and quite probably your own - fears as to the ex-Emperor Jien Kogan's return, that particular malignent cancer can be discounted as an active factor. To the best of my knowledge, he sadly passed away due to natural causes. A great number of the population of Leeds would have wished for a rather more artificial and state-ordained end, of course.
While the Board is certainly interested in securing viable H3 sources, we already have a functional relationship with the Gas Miners' Guild to fulfil this function. Consequently, we are more interested in your "frank discussion" regarding the future and Kishiro's other, more unique resources. Of course, we are willing to trial cooperation in the Sigmas. It should present a curious experiment.
Our transports will be en-route shortly.
Yours sincerely,
Sir James Cromwell,
Director of Operations, Borderworlds Exports
Konnichiwa, My Name is Kaito Neimann and i will be taking control of Negotiations between Kishiro and Bowex from here on out. I Wish to say that it is a great honor to be working along side such a large and good standing company in the face of Sirius. Now To get to some points that i feel you will find interesting.
Though you already have deals with the GMG we are much closer to Bretonia and in a safer place were the Kusari Naval Forces are less likely to find you. As well as those pesky Hogosha/Farmers Alliance or GC and Blood dragons
To get to Okinawa you must fly right past our base Saitama which adds much more time onto your trip when you can stop on saitama get what fuel you need and be gone quickly.
I am sure that due to the lack of trade into Bretonia from Kusari you have been unable to obtain Optronics which are valuble in many modern constructs including the new modular bases contruction platforms. We coul offer you Optronics for close to the same price on our base as they would cost on Planet Honshu

From: Trade Manager Andrew Peterson, Bowex. To: Kaito Neimann, Kishiro. Topic: Contractual negotiations.
Good day to you, Mr Neimann. I'm sorry for the lateness of my reply, but we've had pressing matters keeping us preoccupied in this sector of space. Recent comings and goings in Omega 3 have had me out of the office and supervising on the ground, so to speak. That said, I can now come to you with the wishes of the Board and DO Cromwell - who has authorised me to speak on his behalf.
We are ready to accept your deal for the supply of H3 gas and Optronics, the latter in particular. We currently need a supply of 80,000 units of the goods, to account for demand across our contract portfolio. We would prefer that the Optronics were prioritised first, seeing as their acquisition is of a pressing nature.
We do have one concern, however. The GMG have recently declared martial law throughout the Sigma 13 system, to the effect that all shipping must restrict itself to the trade lanes. Obviously, this is not a viable solution for myself and my employees, as Honshu could be considered a rather hostile place for us. We're simply requesting that you speak alongside us when we make our appeal to the GMG to overturn the regulation for Bowex - the jump holes are essential to the viability of this deal.
