Is there any sort of list about what guard systems are classic guard and which are dev-developed types?
' Wrote:No, definitely just the former. It was prevalent in many non-vanilla systems during 4.85, and probably in 4.86 too.
Definitely the issue is with the makers, but I am still of the opinion that factions should make sure their bases are all set. It may end up falling with the former problem though.
' Wrote:I would personally call them "home" systems, akin to vanilla Chugoku, as they are inhabited solely by one faction. However, we are all in agreement to their total superfluousness.
Edit: I'm strongly in favour of that development in Kusari for FA/Hogosha. One would think that the GC and BD Guard systems could potentially be combined in a similar fashion...
I think there's been mention of a similar de-guard system plan, but not quite together.

Anyone who works on the mod can be considered a Dev to one degree or another, so therefore all Guard systems are made by "Devs". Some of those Devs may have designed Guard systems in a manner which is not necessarily consistent with approximate lore.
I believe it can't really be a faction's responsibility if there are no skilled or suitable Devs within that faction to monitor their system during development. more likely, the faction simply doesn't get to see the system in advance anyway, which is usually the case.
