Not possible, techwise. It's possible to create regens with less or more capacity, but it's not possible to prevent certain craft from using them.

Shouldn't it be possible for cap ships to only have nanobots, and smaller ships to only have shield batteries?

In realism that could be explained by only larger ships having the space for onboard repair facilities, but have much stronger powercores and shield regenereation rates and therefore no use for shield batteries. To compensate for the raised vulnerability of snubs, raise their hulls by 100%

Removing armor = make a lot of people who have cap7, cap8 to QQ

Removing armor is not equivalent to halfing bots, at least in the snubbie sector!

Remove armor and a Razor becomes the cooler SNAC to instakill shieldless victims, half bots and you have to do do it only 2-3 times instead 3-5 ...

That's a truly evil idea. A sadistic choice. Must be why I like it so much.

Hmm... Should I mount armor, cloak or regens.

2: Maybe, but thatd unbalance snubs vs everything else which would only make 3 worse;

3: Going to be rebalanced.


I still say increase weapon speed and range. Give alternatives to armour - power booster, shield booster, agility booster, ect, make regens and ammo take up cargo space, or reduce hull.

Halving bots = removing armor.

Nope, theres difference between both, when you half bots, there be just less hull regenning,
when you remove armor, things like razor, missiles, torpedos, nukes, gb cerbs etc. will become insta kill weapon, becouse armors in disco dont multiple hull, they just kinda "absorb' damage, like when having best snub armor 2.5x it will simply reduce dmg, lets say 1k dmg to unarmored ship, means 400 dmg to one with 2.5x armor
