Server Latency

Just a quick question regarding population of the server list in FL. When I start there are certain servers with a ping of approx 300ms which appear straight away yet the FL disco server does not appear for quite some time (also roughly 300ms).

is this related to my ping or is there something that has been put there to prevent account swapping while in space?

Is there a way to directly connect using the server IP?

Also, where is the server located so I can run a speed test?

FYI in Australia so I expect some lag.

Follow the instructions in this post. Using the version of dsupdate Error uploaded the Disco RP 24/7 server should show up quicker.

As for the server location, it's in Germany as far as I know.
