I think that not stating every single way you can fak over someone's day is an attempt on the admin part to at least and try to treat the community as a bunch of more or less sentient beings with the ability to use common sense.

Generally, it has proven to be a rather unsuccessful try so far.

Yep, generally, I think all the changes to many rules and regulations were done because someone was certainly sure that community won't screw.
