One of the main things I find now'a'days, is that everyone has a Freelancer ID. What this means is that even if you know a Freelancer has fired upon lawfuls before, you have no proof unless you have SS, and at the time you wouldn't think of SSing a Freelancer...

Maybe if a "Targeted Freelancer" Id was implemented, an Freelancer ID which can only claim unlawful contracts, and the traditional Freelancer ID which can only claim lawful contracts. It could be semi solved.

Maybe this Targeted Freelancer ID could be a result of a FR'5, but then again who FR'5 now'a'days ?

Put simply, there are too many neutral targets which remain neutral until they see their target, by which point, it's too late.

My opinion is outdated

Also happened on Disco before and is just another example of what has already been named "piss-poor attitude" in this community. Sadly, I just have to agree.

Having to register on the bounty board is what made it unattractive to me.

That was the time when Reavers were shooting up every lawful in New York but the [LN] didnt put up a blanket bounty on them (I guess why?) and they would start lawyering you about what contract it was every time you tried to do something about it.

I agree with many here: Bounty hunting as a form of roleplay lite PvP is outdone by /conn, and as a way to make money it leaves a whole lot to be desired. You cant even get hired as a convoy escort these days (I try that pretty often too) except by very few factions. Also many of the official unlawful factions (read corsairs) are a lot thinner on the ground now too. Personally I fault the indie pirate id, as they can make money without much roleplay and unlimited choice of location. Jack is right abut hubs too: they encorage gameplay a lot, even if some systems then see less traffic.

Im penniless, rotten in a fight, and have authority issues, but im back!
