Johann Brunhild's advise on taking missions is pretty good, but a word of advise...don't take missions against Junkers, as they might be the soft option on a Vanilla server, but on Disco they regen forever. Even the "assassinate a leader" missions can take an age if your mark isn't in the first wave.

I used to pick on low level Rogues (when I was playing a BH) as they are as soft as they come. Stopped playing a BH because...oh well...you'll find out

Please, please, please do NOT take free money from anyone:mellow:

It will retard your RP development.

It's so much better to earn it on your own & learn how to RP by complete immersion duing your 'building up' period.

Mine Silver in Colorado then once you have enough make a CSV or Rhino. Both are great Freighters. Rhino has 8 guns in total and a decent cargo and useful if your staying in Liberty while the CSV is more armored and has more cargo but less guns but its better suited for the other systems.
Hope it helps

I always trade to start. You gotta have the patience to take small bites and upgrade your capacity as possible.
Stick to Liberty at first. California to Texas is a good startup. As you get a decent shield under you, you might make your first trip to Hamburg or Manchester. California to Leeds via the Magellan JH is good once you have a decent ship. Never risk everything, always leave yourself enough for another run if you get killed.

Trying to make big money in a little ship will always bring you grief. Unioners and Mollies, even Lane Hacker NPC's are a bane to a startup ship. If you try it, you'll end up losing your hard-fought dough and have to start again., which definitely takes the fun out of it.

Used to be good advise but the Liberty Navy has taken control again & closed Magellan JH
