I think the NPC scanning is fine, just as long as pirates don't scan allies and police don't think captured pilots are contraband.

Signed for removal, both sides taken into account.

I have two prison liners, one for order who has tons of pilots and nomads for RP interogations (read Mitchel's Character profile, great interogation technique) and a Liberty National Gaurd one (This isn't a problem for the Guantanamo, it is positioned away from patrolls for RP secrecy)

But still, revomal of scanning and demanding for NPCs is signed for.

I was formerly know as Spiritar.

It's been a while.

Ugh...

How about we just return NPC scanning to default? A.K.A. The police will stop scanning you when you are green to them.

Because the actual problem revolves around neutral and slightly shady types getting pirated by NPCs either for RP cargo or, even more ridiculously, when supplying the very faction that is pirating them!

A smuggler attempting to remain on docking terms with both Malta and Manhattan will find it quite hard to remain friendly to Outcasts...and for the solo Outcast in a Sabre to demand those 4300 slaves just far enough away from Malta that you will not have enough time to dock seems illogical in the extreme. I would imagine that any player Outcast attempting to pull the same stunt would get a pretty negative response from the Council of Dons...
