Too bad I'm planning to give up my indy order Praefect Cruiser to get into my Bs| role better in the next version, because I'm only a Lieutenant, so I can only fly Gunboats or smaller...

Arn't the order getting their own cruiser, thus making all those order corsair cruisers obsolete, the next version? If so, why go for the 'sair cruiser?

Also: Does anyone have a pic of the new OC dessie model? I havn't seen it for some odd reson.

both have been balanced by now and do fine. - only problem for you will be that - while you may be allowed to pilot a gunboat.... the order appears not to get one. ( at least i have t seen legenation for a while now )
