no, debate is good I think, leads to good results.
Anyways, Liberty would know about the Nomads in the Omicrons (the officials and authorities stationed there)
But normal civilians and smugglers wouldn't even know systems like omi 100 exist, or much about the nomads, it's not something I think the government would report. Anywyas, if smugglers did find a way to the omicrons, how would they know what a nomad is when they see one? I think the reaction of Liberty would be more appropiate? when it comes to Nomads.
' Wrote:I just wanted to say that the names Madrid and Rome in your system omicron lambda are to 'big' for a small base in the omicrons. I would see Rome in freelancer as a planet in a very important system with alot of population and bases.
I hope you spelt Lambda right when you were making the system. Just making sure, since you forgot the B in the opening post.
As for names from other mediterranean islands between Malta and Crete (Malta is just under Sicily, and Crete is under Greece).
As it stands now, however, the Outcasts and Corsairs already have a quick passage through Eta and Theta. I don't know if this is changing in the up coming mod, but we don't need two path ways between the two. Especially when the shorter one makes the other redundant.

Skoorb I would hate to say this because it will feel like a smack to your creativity, but there is a reason I suggested you talk to Igiss and Xoria about your connection plans. Those connections are very illogical for the reasons already provided.
Also forgive my asking but when you named those objects, did you use FLE to name them or did you assign them an IDS in the .ini file?

Hey no problem Nexus. Be honost, if you think Igiss and Xoria would pan this idea let me know. Would save me lots of time and mental effort. Your opinion is that the connections and therfore systems would not make it into the mod? That is what I was asking for in the origonal post.
The connection's in my mind were to make smuggling routes intercect. Plus i remember someone asking for a better path between the BH home and Order space. The path to the BHers could easily be removed. The trade routes would not be better than any of the other routes, cept maybe the other smuggling routes. This could be adjusted for within each system by the distances between the holes.
Before I bother Xoria and Igiss I wanted to make sure I had figured out enough with the editting to know for sure I could do it. Guessing they are real real busy ATM with all the 4.85 stuff. Figured it was easier to ask the community first to see if i should pursue it any further.
I used FLE. It is starting to become obvious to me not to trust FLE. It seems great to put objects into your mod, but all the small details seem to get messed up. Having trouble ATM getting fled-ID's up and running.
FLED-Ids is a pain, but I have yet to find something to replace it, so good luck with that. Be sure to check the resources that dab has listed in his system creation tutorial. Its long, its complicated, but it is the only way to do it.
Messing with these systems will not hurt either. You will learn the most by trying things and having one of those "AH HA!" moments.
