These mini-events in Shikoku should be PvE only, so it would be clear whether one is pvp dead for 30 minutes or 2 hours, otherwise it's just a complicated mess with 2-3 sides shooting at each other.
It would break the very point of the whole event - both parties prefer to stay isolated and cooperate with each other for equally benefits... well, at least - until now.
Quick question,
my ship has permanent docking rights on the Freeport, and it is shown as friendly to me.
Does that mean I am on friendly terms with the Pioneers ? And also, if I change the ship but keep the name, will that screw the docking rights up ?
Last words are for fools who have not yet said enough.
Given the role-play that occurred yesterday, we've been starting to think about KNF options for what will follow.
Now from the original contact we had with pioneers, the line more or less taken was that KNF would be protecting zoners and civilians in the system, since pioneers became too vulnerable to defend themselves, knowing that there was no guarantee Kusari could durably deploy enough assets here to claim the area, and that the great house had others priorities and issues to deal with anyway.
However, the fact we managed to jump the battle-group escalated things a bit, leaving us with three potential lines to follow: - KNF considers itself as a "guest" in the system (the original line), and acts as a peacekeeping force present to protect civilians, thus still considering Pioneers as the rightful claimants of this space, encouraging some level of cooperation and a constant diplomatic effort towards them. KNF and Pioneers would thus be on an equal footing and cooperating together against the defilers.
- Kusari lays claim on the system, considering it as Kusari space and fully enforcing laws defined in Kusari Legal Codex. Diplomatic efforts would still be undertaken to find a peaceful solution with the Pioneers zoners, not unlike Bethlehem with Liberty.
- KNF turns into an invasion force, claiming this space as their own and more or less forcing pioneers to acknowledge those terms if they want to be protected. This turns the battle-group from a peacekeeping force to an invasion force, which could be seen as threatening by others groups that may make their way there. Pioneers could also refuse this ultimatum, forging alliances with others group to oppose both KNF and defilers.
We haven't decided yet which path we would follow. Each line is interesting in a way. I was curious about what others would think about it. Perhaps you have ideas to make this even more interesting?
I also think Pioneers and defilers should be more active in the system. Perhaps you could recruit trusted community members so that a presence in game and on forums could be boosted?
