Started again, farmed a bit, what do I do now?

So every couple of years I start playing this mod again. First time on the forums. Farmed 40mil dosh. And since, as a trader/smuggler nobody stops you, or if you don't have a faction before your name, you are ignored. What active factions should I try and join for pew or trading?

Well, for pew BAF , MRG, Order, Core, Unioners should get you lots of pew.

For trading you have OSI-, BMF|, Kruger, Bowex, Gateway, USI

These are probably the most active

Or help with activity factions struggling with activity

Hey, thanks for the quick replies.

I have no preferences, about the House, as long as it has active people in it. I don't think I will ever go above a gunboat, as I am very bad at the battle part of this game. In conclusion, no preferences, just shoot me a faction/direction that is active and I will manage.

The best way to establish a character would be play it consistently, to interact with other people, and participate in memorable events. Over time, everything sort of falls into place. And yes, I suppose there's nothing wrong with sort of 'light-hearted' characters. But what you present to people, dictates what they present to you. Good luck.

If you want to get some good trading in, yeah, talk to us. We do convoys and other fun things. If you want to develop your character, my advice to you is to simply play the character. Take Willow. She started out as a pirate girl and her dog. Now she's apparently running some sort of commercial concern. (According to her, it's the same skill set.)

Just playing your character and getting in their shoes can take you places, is what I'm trying to say.
