LOCATION: INGOLSTADT STATION
SUBJECT:Republican Shipping Escourt Permission Guten tag
A few days ago, one of my captains request from a Bretonia Armed Forces Commander on duty if we are allowed to have Republican Shipping Gunboat escourt a transport into Bretonia. Thankfully, permission was given and we followed through with our route.
On the way back though we were seperated in the Omegas and the transport was heavily attacked, and the cargo was lost. Currently our Security Division is very small as we rebuilding from scratch.
This being said I would like to make a formal request about future Republican escourts. Here is what we are asking:
- Allow a Rheinland Military vessel to accompany us into Omega 3 to Cambridge Jump Gate. (size of vessel isnt an issue, but you may set the limit if you allow it)
or
- When needed, and with sufficient notice, to send a Bretonia Armed Force vessel to the Omega 7 Jump Gate to escourt the transport into Bretonia House space, and out when the transport returns. But I know this option may be alot to ask due to the Gallic forces attacking New London, and the situation in Omega 49.
But once we have a proper Security Division
- To allow Republican Shipping to be escourted into Bretonia space with its security detail with no bigger than a Gunboat. Once it has increased its security division.
Option 3 currently isnt available yet, but would like your view on it for the future.
We hope that you agree to option 1 or 2. Prefferably 1, as we just need then one Light Fighter for the escourt, due to their readily resources in Rheinland.
We hope to hear from you soon and please contact me if you have questions or need clearity on my request.
The Rheinland Military is already permitted to fly two (2) Cruisers in Omega-3 for the purposes of protecting trade. However if you intend to call upon these warships then we ask that the Rheinland Military be the ones to inform us before hand.
Regarding protection of your vessels, it is the duty of the BAF to provide protection to all civilian vessels when possible, with that being said, Omega-3 is currently manned mainly by the officers of the BPA, and thus any request for protection should be sent to them as we are currently engaged heavily in New London, as you mentioned. If you wish to request the right to fly a gunboat into Bretonia, we ask that you confirm this request for us.
