I personally send you my best regards on behalf of Montluc Avanced Engineering. Today I am writing to you in hope of understanding and your assistance in protecting of Languedoc system.
As you know, Languedoc remained unaffiliated following the collapse of the Monarchy and was left mostly undefended by the parties emerging from the ashes of the Kingdom. We do realise that all the parties right now have more important matters to attend to, however, Languedoc being a border system, it always required protection. We do not wish to divert your precious resources from the Hebrides and cause another misunderstanding with the rest of Gallia while the system is still war torn and would not tolerate the return of any of the forces. However, we would require your assistance of different kind.
As you must have notices, recently a gravitational anomaly opened close to planet Rennes in Brittany system. It has attracted many researchers, most especially attracted by the local unique mineral. We also scouted the system, however, our attention caught a different object, namely, a derelict battleship assumingly of Libertonian origin. External analysis rendered its hull to be mostly intact and we believe we can refurbish it for the protection of Languedoc system. I am myself not much pleased by using inferior Libertonian technologies, and I assume you are not much more attracted to use it as Enclave has many fine Royal "Valor"-class dreadnaughts of much superior quality. In this regard, we are kindly asking you to grant us permission to obtain and tow ship's hull to Languedoc under your protection and supervision. I believe, there are no useful technologies to scavange from the ship, but I assure you should we find any, we will share them with the Enclave. The ship itself is planned to be towed to Kerguelen Fabrication Facility, repaired, refurbished, and used to guard Quillan from unlawfuls and possible incursions of Republicans should those dare to press their claims upon Languedoc again. I urge you to consider the fates of the populace on Quillan that remained loyal to his Majesty. his name thrice blessed, and their protection. I sincerely hope you can grant us our request.
Availing the opportunity, I would also to happily inform you of completion of your request of the following ships:
Gallic Armored Transports - 2x
Civilian Very Heavy Fighters - 5x
Gallic Freighters - 3x
and their safe delivery to Fort Alby in Brittany. I hope, our cooperation will not be forgotten by His Majesty's Forces.
Je vous prie de croire à l'assurance de mes salutations distinguées

Bonjour, Baron Montluc. Je suis Adelaide Gauthier, Commandant of Escadron XXII of the Enclave Defense Authority. I'm contacting you on behalf of the Enclave Defense Board. The ships you delivered have all been accounted for, and are now being prepped for assignment. We acknowledge and appreciate your company's efforts in service of the Crown. Now, to the main point of your message.
An emergency session of the Board was called to discuss this issue. This is due to the unorthodox nature and scope of your request, combined with the current political situation in Gallia. I'll skip the details, as there are a lot of concerns regarding this request, and some are yet to be addressed. But the derelict's position calls for swift action. For the time being, the Board has reached the following decisions:
Immediately moving the derelict to Languedoc was deemed a security risk.
Obtaining the derelict was deemed feasible, if only to study Libertonian technology more closely.
The Enclave can divert protection detail, and maybe jump-capable ships to assist you with the towing.
The initial towing destination could be the orbit of planet Lannion in Brittany, guarded by the Montmorency cohort.
There, your engineers could work together with ours to further analyze the ship.
In the meantime, the Board will make the decision on the ship's future fate.
Your assistance may get you the derelict hull, and will secure your company's position in the Hebrides and in the future Kingdom.
These are the best terms we can offer at this time, while Gallia is still in flux. Yet time is of the essence: our window of opportunity may close as rapidly as it opened, together with the jump hole. I figure we have to act now. If you can agree to these terms, please let me know as soon as possible, and we'll get moving on this immediately.
I am elated that our ships serve you well and grateful for agreeing to consider the proposition.
We received the news recently regarding the reformation of the government of Gallia. As you probably already know, the Republique de Gallia and the Grand Duchy of Burgundy united under the auspices of the Confederation of Gallia. The governing bodies are still unknown to me, yet the lack of administrative organisation is not the issue. Languedoc and Dauphine were seized by the Minarchy of Provence which is a fully fledged member of the Confederacy. I have no issues with the Minarchy ruling in their native Provence system, but the idea of Unione Course mafia ruling over honest civilians of Dauphine and Languedoc abhors me. This just reinforces the idea that Quillan needs more capacity to guard itself against the criminal influence while the Confederation turns the blind eye on it. I personally started the Progress League of Quillan, an opposition political force to establish Languedoc Barony as a separate entity within the Confederation. If we succeed, perhaps we can lay down some foundation for some of the nobility to return to Quillan and create a favourable conditions for the Enclave.
At any rate, I am glad you see our point and agree to consider our request. I would kindly ask you to notify us upon your readiness to proceed with the operation and details about the randevouz place and the time for our crew of engineers to arrive. We are right now making a team to send to you to install the drives on the wreck, carry out emergency repairs to maintain the integrity of the hull, and to move it to Brittany. We agree on your request to deliver the hull to planet Lannion where we can begin the scavenge and study of the ship. Given your military expertise, we would also request your bio-specialist to monitor the ship against possible infestation of any sort. When serving with the Royal Navy I heard the rumours of species of unkown origin that can "infest" humans and human dwellings. I assume, you have more knowledge on that and are aware of possible hazards.
We are looking forward to your reply and details of the operation. We stand ready to send in our teams.
Je vous prie de croire, Commandant Gauthier, à l'assurance de mes salutations distinguées

Je suis Claire Ambrecoeur, Capitaine of Enclave Defense Authority. A pleasure to get acquainted with you. I have had a really rough shift, so I will be short and jump straight to the business.
I have been appointed, together with assigned destroyer class "Triumph" RES-Somme and her cohort to this mission. We will be providing cover for you against all odds, should they occur. Moreover, we will use our coordination systems to make sure, that your people and the ship makes it safe out of there. But unfortunately I can't promise you much, taking into account the state of the system. I'm sure you have already recieved your own reports on what is going on there, so you can understand.
The operation will be carried in following two days, more specific time will be given to you through our agent in Languedoc in a secured data pocket. We can not risk and use neural net protocols even with such a heavy decryption. Approximate time of arrival of our runner is 14 hours and he will meet you near remains of Council gunboat in square Gamma-Six. Code word is: Serval.
It is splendid news! We have dispatched our engineering teams. Expect their arrival shortly to Cordes Outpost. We suggest meeting there for further coordination later on upon the arrival of your team.
We are looking forward to the operation. I am certain, it would be a success.
Je vous prie de croire, Capitaine Ambrecoeur, à l'assurance de mes salutations distinguées
