My name is Imagawa Mana, I work for the Secretariat of the Shimamori Clan. I was informed by Lord Shimamori that you have reached an agreement regarding a cultural work for the Clan and by extension for the Imperial Diet. This message is to provide official contract to your work. Please, find it attached below.
1. This contract is concluded between the Shimamori Clan (hereinafter "the Employer") and Takahashi Riku (hereinafter "the Contractor").
2. The responsibilities of the Contractor under this contract are:
to promote Kusari culture within Gallia;
to promote mutual understanding between the peoples of Kusari and Gallia on non-official interpersonal level;
to investigate the perception and possible demand of Kusari culture in Gallia;
to seek Gallic cultural practices and artefacts that can promote mutual understanding between the Houses of Kusari and Gallia.
3. The Contractor is free in choosing the methods in the conduct of his responsibilities as long as the methods do not infringe the the goals of the said responsibilities.
4. The Contractor shall not act in a capacity as to representing either Clan Shimamori or the governmental agencies of the Empire of Kusari. The Contractor can at own discretion mention the patronage of the Clan Shimamori in the matter if such mentioning furthers his tasks under the responsibilities stipulated in this Contract. The Employer shall not be held accountable for any action or omission of the Contractor.
5. The Employer shall provide the monetary support for the necessary expenses in the course of discharging responsibilities under this Contract as long as such expenses are explained as necessary to pursue the goals of this Contract.
6. The Employer shall provide legal and representative support to the Contractor in case of problems with the Gallic officials or law enforcement agencies on condition that such problems do not result from intentional malicious misconduct of the Contractor aware of the illegal nature of his actions in advance.
7. The progress on his work shall be reported by the Contractor in a form of reports via this channel. The reports can be in any suitable form as long as they clearly convey achieved progress in performing the responsibilities under this contract. Each report shall be estimated by Lord Shimamori depending on its value to the goals set forth in this Contract in a form of responsibilities and remunerated accordingly in amounts between 5 million S.C. and 25 million S.C.
8. This Contract can be terminated upon explicitly stated notification by either Employer or the Contractor. In the case of such a termination, the Employer undertakes to remunerate any results achieved prior to the termination and the Contractor shall reimburse any expenses incurred by the Employer that have not been put to use as of the moment of termination of the Contract.
9. In case of a violation of the provisions of the Contract by either Employer or the Contractor, the Contract shall be considered breached and the party responsible for the breach shall pay a single time penalty of 50 million S.C.
10. This Contract is effective since the moment of signing by both the Employer and the Contractor

If you agree to the terms of the contract, please send back the signed version thereof. I was also informed by Lord Shimamori that there are additional terms to this contract that have been reached in a gentlemen's agreement. I do not know the contents of such an agreement but assure you that your work under these additional provisions shall be remunerated accordingly and covered by this contract. You are also free to report on the progress on both written and spoken part of the contract there.
