Most-esteemed Lord,
I salute you with burning enthusiasm and much humbleness to speak, should you have recovered sufficiently, with yourself, Lord Lowfer. I have received news of your travel to the Sigmas, and though I have the utmost faith in your men, I cannot but bow before you with much honor due to your courage to keep moving forward despite so many setbacks. It is an unfortunate reality that we, humans, are but beings that eventually succumb to death, and thus we must rely on others to pass our legacy unto, however I hold the greatest of respect for those that dedicate themselves to a cause they believe in and continue to step down the pathway to eternal glory and remembrance. I most certainly hope that these words will reach you, as both I and my colleagues in the Government, serving our Holy Emperor, and my compatriots in the military, have a great deal of respect for you, for Bretonia, and for BMM above all for upholding century-old traditions and pledging to work for the betterment of their dear home.
But let us also move to other affairs, those being related to your travel back to Bretonia. It is with great sorrow that I wish to apologize for our failings to act against the Royalist scum that pollutes our lands and the ones beyond. Many orders have been sent out since, and even more directives given to increase patrols in the border regions, with great attention being put to Kyushu especially. I have been present in the system ever since, on my flagship, to oversee the patrols personally. We, the servants of our Eternal Emperor, His Excellency Kogen, have always took the utmost pride in defending Kusari and our people, and much regret has been had when we failed to do so. To fail in defending Kusari would equal failing one's purpose in life, and we wish to ensure that guests and foreign dignitaries alike can feel as safe as our citizens inside our borders.
To that end, it is again with much honor that I wish to extend to Your Excellency the chance to be escorted to your home, the Kingdom of Bretonia, by myself and the most fervent of the Emperor's supporters -- the best of the best of the Empire. Many preparations have already been carried out on the Haruna, my flagship, so that your visit aboard may end the perilous voyage back to Bretonia in the most safe manner, all whilst sending a powerful message to our enemies that the Empire of Kusari will not fail at protecting esteemed guests.
It is with great expectations that I now conclude this message. Reach out at earliest -- we stand ready to assist a hard-working man such as yourself, Lord Lowfer-Ferrers.
