Cordial greetings Mr. Namura,
It has been a while since official contact was made between the Gas Miners Guild and the Liberty Navy. Even though we have been separated by another house, trade and interests between us have been mostly aligned.
Recently our military intelligence has come across an unstable path that can support the travel of smaller craft up to the size of a freighter, that leads to Sigma-13. This presents great potential for a direct connection between us, however it also poses serious security concerns for our border and especially your home system of Sigma-13.
The reason I am reaching out to you is because, as per these developments, our interests may be aligned to closer cooperation than before. The Gas Miners Guild is an organization that Liberty has always valued and considered as partners in trade. As such the Republic of Liberty is interested in working together and to assist the Gas Miners Guild in establishing commond ground in this new situation.
For this reason I would like to make an official visit in Sigma-13 to discuss furhter cooperation in areas of trade, mutual defense and security that we both would benefit from.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Alan Jones

The Guild considers the Republic of Liberty to be a valuable economic partner and enjoys our positive relationship greatly.
We have also come to be aware of a new connection in the Sigma-13 system and are currently conducting the relevant investigations. It is most reassuring to learn of the proximity to such friendly space, rather than that of the likes of the Outcasts, or others of their ilk.
Nevertheless, this sudden change of landscape, as with any other, does presents its own new security challenges and, while GMG's surveys are in progress, it would unfortunately be unable to commit to a meeting in space until the situation is fully understood and the area under safe control. This is ongoing with maximum haste but if, in the interim, you would prefer to open a conversation without further delay, this channel remains active and monitored for your input.

Mr. Namura,
Although a meeting does not seem possible at the moment, It is nonetheless good to hear from you. The intent behind this communication is to create a partenership and cooperation between us in order to secure the corridor provided by the copernicus system in matters of both trade and security.
Our Special Operations teams have completed a preliminary charting and surveying of the system, identifying the primary threats and points of interest. I am willing to share this information with you in a later message.
Despite the obstacles faced, we do note the potential of this new connection to allow for a direct trading channel between Liberty and the Gas Miners Guild, although at a small scale as our survery indicates that larger transport vessels will not be able to go through the route.
For this purpose the Liberty Navy First Fleet is willing to offer limited assitance in defense matters to the Gas Miners Guild in exchange for permission to access the Sigma-13 system for trading purposes and permission for our patrol craft to use your stations in the system for repairs and a staging point to assist in current ongoing efforts of securing the Copernicus corridor.
I believe this to be the beginning of a broader cooperation between us and a relationship with much potential to be explored.
Best Regards,
Alan Jones
