Decent fight, though some thoughts for next attempt.
-One side auto-winning if the combat lasts more than 15 minutes is a bit meh... thats a pretty short amount of time for a Freelancer fleet fight.
-While there should be some precaution to prevent the opposition from dunking on the Event Ship, there should also be some provision for the Opposition to be allowed to attack the Event ship early should the escorts completely abandon it again as happened this time. Makes very little sense for the Einbeck to just be allowed to continue its scans unopposed and undefended if it's escorts all flee 15k+ away from it in opposite directions.

I've put the work in for that. I have multiple text files full of event stuff, and I've given these guys the bits of one that will definitely take longer than 15 minutes and has a bit more structure than to allow either Einbeck to rush the objective, OpFor to camp the objective, or 88 brazillion defenders to rush a few attackers. I'll also be interjecting in the event post to Make It Make Sense™ with the roleplay, because I was watching Counter Strike Majors (Furia throws so hard they should start playing baseball), and not actually paying attention. Corsair, Liberty Navy, Order, Core, and Zoners definitely exist in the area, scout the area, fight in the area, so on and so forth, but having detailed operating information about what amounts to an interpersonal fetch-quest spurred by an overzealous infiltrator and a bratty advisor butting heads in order to deploy multiple dreadnaughts to hard-counter it is, dare I say, not very good roleplay.
The structure will be both better gameplay-wise and more immersive than this.
I'll do something about my superiority complex when I cease to be superior.
