It has been about twelve hours since my previous entry. The Bifrost hull has been hauled to AESIR berth for repairs.
The damage to the superstructure is quite extensive, but her main bulkheads are largely undamaged. Given the pre-fab compartmentalization of the main chassis, repairs can be expedited by replacing rather than repairing the damaged hull components - though I am told it will be at least a day until she is spaceworthy, and several days until the Bifrost is fully up to spec. Among the compartments that were unrecoverably destroyed were my personal quarters. Fate was cruel in sparing the ugly Weihnachtspulli I received from Sabine's mother from fire and explosive decompression, while my first-edition paper print of Theosophilus von Stuttgart's Histories burned to just shy of unrecognizability. The AESIR drydock crew have offered to make a desk ornament of the compressed debris, an offer which I declined. I did, however, request a piece of each of the Hessian wrecks we made in Holstein orbit to be welded into the central bulkhead in the mess - a reminder to the crew that the Civil War may have ended, the war against those who wish harm on the Rheinland people is never over. It could be argued that taking such trophies is tacky, but I believe it's a necessary measure to bolster morale amongst the crew - as I have seen that the crippling of the Bifrost has put a damper on their dispositions.
On a more somber note, Ten midshipmen died during the evacuation, when their liferaft took a direct hit from the Hessians. I have the unenviable task of writing to their families of the loss of their children in a time of alleged peace.
The Director has requested that I join him for dinner to discuss events, and a forecast of the future deployments of the Bifrost. It seems that he was quite disturbed by the recent resurgence of the Hessians in what was thought to be secured space. The regular trips between Frankfurt and Coronado have also undoubtably been hard on the old man.

Half-way through the reinstallation of our hangar bays and crew quarters modules, we recieved a systemwide distress message from a Kruger vessel indicating the sighting of an infamous Hessian cruiser, the RHC-Vidar near the Westerwald. GIven the urgency of maintaining the security cordon, a emergency skeleton crew was summoned and the Bifrost engaged in an emergency sortie on intercept.
The Bifrost was first on the scene, engaging the RHC-Vidar in battle. The missile support cruiser [RM]KKS-Luebeck arrived on scene during our battle - but held off on engaging, instead maintaining a safe distance to observe. The engagement was fairly matched, with heavy damage inflicted upon the Vidar's engines and the Bifrost's fire control systems. After a long and bitter fight, the risk of a prolonged stalemate became too great, and the Luebeck finished off the crippled Vidar with a salvo of missiles.
In the aftermath, Bifrost returned to AESIR drydock to resume refit. I am told that the dockmaster voiced several stern and very rude words at the state of the ship. The timetable for launch with completed repairs has been set back several days.

It has been several days since we left drydock post full overhaul. On our patrol of Omicron Theta, we encountered one Corsair battleship. Seeing an opportunity to bleed the Corsair empire, we imposed a fined the vessel 50,000 credits to the corsair vessel - but their crew chose to die rather than pay. We obliged them.
Following our patrol route, we jumped back into Thuringia to connect with [RM]KKS-Richtofen as part of a scheduled supply drop to the Kolleda Wreck reclamation initiative, but we encountered a Hessian taskforce consisting of two cruisers. Among them, we spotted the R\-Valgaldr - one of three ships responsible for the crippling of our Bifrost in a Hessian raid several weeks ago. The Hessians fought as well as they had before, and the [RM]KKS-Richtofen suffered catastrophic damage while defending the Bifrost from the two cruisers - but we succeeded in hunting down and decomissioning the R\-Valgaldr. Unfortunately, the Bifrost also sustained damage, and was unable to secure the R\-Mimir before it could slip away. We collected the Richtofen crew and jumped to AESIR for repairs.
Though the fight was bittersweet with casualties on both sides, the morale of the crew has noticably improved after avenging ourselves on the R\-Valgaldr.

On convoy duty with vessels from the Weiss division of Imperial Shipping, we departed from Frankfurt to Omicron Minor to obtain Azurite Gas. Along the way, our convoy was attacked by several large NOMAD vessels - a Junker identifying itself as part of 'Voltaic,' a likely a Junker clan, assisted in repelling the NOMAD threat - which was neutralized with little difficulty. Not long after, another NOMAD form charged our convoy and was promptly put down. In all, Bifrost eliminated two NOMAD 'capital' class forms, and assisted in the destruction of a third.
We arrived at AESIR with 1540 units of Azurite Gas without further incident.

On orders from the Director, we were ordered to obtain some Organic Capacitors and Xeno Relics for a production run at AESIR.
While en route to the Earhart System, we encountered a freelancer vessel intruding into the Westerwald. Despite orders to leave, it continued into the Westerwald in defiance. It was quickly dispatched.
In Earhart, we encountered a Colonial mining expedition engaged in extraction of Organic Capacitors. Seizing the opportunity, we purchased 150 units for 150,000, and offloaded the cargo at AESIR.
