Regardless, I don't think this is the case, as both of my brother's computers can log on at the same time. I really want to get mine fixed though, as they are decidedly inferior and my brothers get to kick me off whenever they feel like it.

Solved, for now, installing the final version of the mod appears to have fixed this issue, though it still takes a couple minutes for the servers to appear.
