That's pretty much what I've been doing. I got Will tagged as a Rogue in the process, purely by accident and I didn't notice myself. Thankfully a Junker brought it to my attention before I got myself shot. I also raised 2 mill for a name change. Alas I got the command slightly wrong, so now he's "Will" instead of "Disconnected". I was aiming for "Will Hansen", but Will will do I guess.
I'll probably abandon this thread in favour of a new RP thread, somewhere. Soon'ish. But I need to haunt this place a bit more first, I think. Soooo much information to take in.

Oh and: if you happen to hold up Will, for whatever reason, and I manage to hit F1, hit shift+w or something equally weird, please pretend it's not happening. I won't actually run or anything, it's just that the UI is severely retarded. Or I am. Pick one. Either way, if I actually plan on running, I'll say so plainly first. Why do I mention this? Because I got nicked for smuggling earlier and very nearly attacked because I apparently didn't hit enter quite hard enough before starting to type "What.. ". Likewise, I've hit F1 on a couple of occasions already faced with NPCs. F2+ do the other flight things, so why shouldn't F1 give me manual control? ... I don't get it. Anyway, point is: please don't murder the handicapped:$

haha, just dont make that mistake twice, Escape gives you manual control, but I think you can change that in the options menue if need be. If ever you want advice, startup, or just a wingmate, I'm always glad to help!

I know, and you can't change it. The UI is definitely <strike>screwed</strike> messed up. Funnily enough, noone else seems to care.
