I assume you already know the definition of hypocracy. That saves me some time. Everybody is a hypocrite about one thing or another. Something along the lines of "The pot calling the kettle black."

True, but when your hypocrisy does not relate to Discovery and someone else's does and affects you in-game and/or on the forums, I think you have a valid movement in highlighting it.

Probably. But you're taking my 'fun fact' way too seriously.

Like it says to the left, people other than angels can help too, it is allowed and very much appreciated, by everyone. I think it would be helpful if people who did not have the explicit job or who's characters did not have the job of helping new or confused players would help people anyway instead of just yell at them or get annoyed.
' Wrote:How does that work?
Honestly, I am an Angel and my time on my Angel character is minimal. Having said that, I would probably have more hours than some in the Angels. I do my Angel work on all of my other characters, especially my =LSF= and Zoner characters whenever I see someone in need of help.
Just because the tag is not visible does not mean we are not doing our job.
Huh, I didn't know that the Angels were still around, much less did I think of helping out new players with on my Liberty based character... From now I think I'll hang around more by Manhattan and in the Pennsylvania system and try to get new people acquainted with the server. Thanks for the idea n00bl3t and it's good to hear the Angels are still around!
Here it is again - people are already starting to moan on a thread that highlighted how negative moaning & being sooo offended is wrecking the game. Tink even listed some of the common failing's of the easily offended moaners - just check how many in this thread have already been moaned about. Quite laughable. If (certain) people are being ironic - its very subtle.
I'd recommend taking a 2nd drag on that pipe & remember that this is game.
' Wrote:I am sooo tired of people digging for ways to be offended. I come on the forum to keep up with rule changes, current RP events and mod development. I HATE reading the "Look who I am mad at today and let's all find a way to crucify the people doing what I don't like" threads.
People who use capital ships ruin the game.
Fighter and bomber pilots ruin the game.
People using missiles ruin the game.
People using bats and bots ruin the game.
People who fight ruin the game.
People who don't fight ruin the game.
People who don't say "hi" ruin the game.
...ad naseum.
It all comes down (usually) to this: "I don't like what they do and want to slap them."
Can't we all get along? We have bats and bots and caps and all the other stuff someone will get offended with. It's part of the game. Can we try to find creativce ways IN-GAME to adapt and respond (that "role play" thing I hear a lot about but don't always see being practiced). Please don't ask for more bans, more nerfs, more rules, more sanctions and more regulations and don't post every negative feeling you have under the guise of "game suggestions".
I love to see positive and constructive suggestions but these regurgitated topics used as a pretense to simply vent our anger isn't much good for anyone. real issues come up but its the constant using of personal issues to try to redefine the game that's annoying.
Peace and Love Brothers and Sisters. (No offense on the bot/bat suggestion but the "lets get rid of bots/bats" is an golden oldie and got me thinking--its not the point of this sorry to use it as a springboard.)
