OMG, and what i say in down of list ?

[quote]So, in my opinion ( specially 1. point) is awesome. I dont think that i play in crossfire, cause that is not so RP and have very too crazy things, but that SWAT guy made good work. I dont think so too, that will be in disco, that is not Igiss work, so no way, but if someone not see this, maybe wanna get shocked like me biggrin.gif.[quote/]

Copyrights, i know, but about this topic, i ONLY wanna show other people, what can be made it, and what really potencial have freelancer for moding.

And little new about i think : Gallia. why not remake space textures ? That would be good, to have not same textures in new whole system, that just disclose. Fine, new ship textures... thats only new ?

Ok, alot of the basic ideas for what you have pointed out here could work for us.

Gallia could get its own gate/lane models and custom nebulae, and new planetscapes could be made or kitbashed.

But we definitely have the talent here in our community to make it ourselves.

Point well taken though, there are always possibilities in Freelancer.

I don't advocate stealing things from other mods in any form, but there are some things that simply cannot be avoided, it's far too easy to claim a breakthrough with designs, but unless the entire modding community in general get together and discuss these issues in a semi-professional and mature manner, it's inevitable that some designs will appear similar.

SWAT has worked long and hard to develop a mod that is far from the Vanilla version whereas Disco has stayed within the Vanilla framework, this I believe limits what can be done.

But with all due respect to the mod dev teams, some mods are way too big, have lost the reason Freelancer was created and thus don't cut any ice with me, one reason I played SP for so long is because I hate being told how to play a game I paid for, however, a mod is not the original and never will be no matter what is done to it.
