Order helps only in expansion to Omicrons and fighting off Nomads and BHG. But still, even such help is greeted.

It's needed to save Crete, Hogosha are making huge money on artifacts and food.
That saves Crete from hunger, Farmers Alliance from economic losses and gives Hogosha money to spent it on bribes and pink Chimaeras.

Not really, Unioners were intrested in Artifact trade, but due to small 'presents' send by otucasts, unioners ceased alliance. Corsairs were intrested to strike Hessians' back. That would be nice alliance.

Yes but at the moment such visions are far from reality.

It's well-known that Corsairs are linked with Kusari goverment. So, destroying Corsairs is in interests of Dragons. Also, Dragons don't like Artifact trade, gajins and pirates. Dragons are patriots.

No sense for Order to cease this alliance. Corsairs and Order are linked for very long time.

Yes but corsairs are secondary priority. Not primary. Dragons have much more important tasks from them than trow their resources on chasing Corsairs in the edge worlds. They acutally only care about Corairs as much as they threat to Kusari and their vision of Kusari. Not like they want to anihilate the faction. Therefor Corsairs are agressors.

All in all, if corsairs stands on defensive/offensive (balanced) with two fronts. And still has enought resources to expand their influence elsewhere that means they are far from desperete need of help.

Oh not to forget. Rheinland conflict. Corsairs are agressors here agian.
