well its said. lets say that there would be certain areas on ships that would take more damage than on others. for example that in thinner parts the ships would be more vulnerable than in the thick ones.
The idea is for sub targeting. Not falling off. Like for aiming or hitting a certain part of ship ships hull takes extra damage. But.... ahh missiles. Don't want then.
Not possible with that effect using conventional modding. Maybe with FLHook.
Easier method is just to have attachable 'armour' that can be blown off after taking so much damage. Instead of hurting the hull of the ship it hurts the armour, till that goes boom.
