Would people prefer if I removed the battleships and used say one cruiser and a handful of Gunboats.
I'm pretty sure you are fine with a Cruiser and a couple gunboats.
' Wrote:For the record: I'm fine with -one- Storta and a couple of gunboats, but you're not using anything else. Take a hint from Zeltak and use Natterturn Zwei cannons. (Pro tip: They're -awesome-)
Soru, but outcast without cardi is just ain't an outcast. And no doubt you would be pushed around by other outcasts like inferior to the rest of the commonwealth. But don't understand me wrong, I don't condemn your idea. This just looks way too strange.
Also I suggest to get rid of huge capitals idea. I don't really see how littile group of people who aren't even concidered equel to the rest of outcasts having battleships or cruissers. Also brining them to rheinland is... a big NO.Fighters/Bombers... maybe a cruisser as a flag ship and a support gunship at most.
A very brief description of the "[size=medium]Altri Reietti". (To be used for evaluation, Subject to change)
The Altri Reietti are a group of Italian Outcasts that have abandoned the sinking ship (In their opinion) that is the Outcast commonwealth. Originally formed as a small group of gamblers that hosted cockfights on the Outcast Shipyard 'Prato', the Altri Reietti eventually began to take interest into the past of the Outcasts (Due to several 'Incidents'). They soon learned about the DNA Disorder that plagued the majority of Outcasts living on planet Malta. They found they were unaffected by the disorder, mostly due to the fact that the station was an almost completly self contained population, meaning that families spent many generations on the station, And constant out breeding had introduced 'clean' genomes into their gene pool. The disorder had simply disappeared in most families. Replacing the thought patterns that arose from the Cardimine Disorder, another problem had instead been introduced, present in the majority of the Prato Shipyard population was extreme paranoia. This made the affected population act erratically, and lead them to make irrational decisions. They came across several rumours while they were poking around, the majority of them being negative. They heard from residents of planet Malta that birth rates had been greatly decreasing, that the total Outcast population was actually shrinking over time, by almost 40% since they arrived here. This was said to be because many Outcasts were infertile, and many fertile outcasts died at a young age before they could pass on their seed. These were of course rumours, but alot of them seemed to be backed by solid evidence. Slowly bu[t surely the Altri Reietti grew in numbers, Until almost all of the families on the station were members. Several families hatched a plan,a very bizarre and terrifying plan. A plan which made many member families leave the station for planet Malta.
It still doesn't work. All Outcast stations have cardamine vented through the station. I mean all Outcast stations, simple as you wouldn't be trusted to man shipyard without being a cardamine dependant Outcast.
No matter what. If you come from the Commonwealth, you are dependant on cardamine. Really, there's no getting around it.
Because you want to make Disco fun for yourself. But lose the OC iff it wont work. Get a freelancer iff instead. Lose the OC background it isn't going to work ("rogue" OCs have been done in the past most have failed).

Find the flaws in your plan before you propose it and be prepared to be attacked about them.
Bigger hint:
Why would you all run away from the Outcast Commonwealth that made you all so rich?
Even bigger hint:
The number of vessels that you claim to have built makes no sense. If it was possible to build that much, the Hessians would have done it already. You are using their resources after all and their shipyards. If they can't churn out hundreds of fighters then well, you can't.
Logistics.
Where's all the resources coming from for the Battleship and other capital ship vessels?
Where are the engineers coming from to work on building them? (Remember you need to keep your crew members onboard your ship, since the ship needs them to run)
How can the Hessians support a large capital fleet when they don't have one themselves?
You must always expect advices. I think every post here was a bit helpful. You can't expect that we will come and say: "What an awesome idea! Make it new factions. "
