If my super tanker had Type 2 Transport Turrets and I got to fend off pirates from meh' tanker I'd imagine it to be quite a thrill...
then again...
I don't think that's the direction you were intendin' to go with that one, and yeah, I have to agree. If I couldn't have my Type 2 turrets and I was drivin' a supertanker from port to port, I suppose I'd get pretty bored too.

Indeed, i do something esle while trading listening to Formula 1 in the background or what ever.
But yes, i love Freelancer, as well as Disco, and when the server is downed ( like it is at the moment) I like to become more familiar with the community as well as getting to know Factions RP better.. Oh yes devoting that time towards Freelancer.. C'mon, gotta mean something Eh?

When you're on a 4 on 8 off watch rotation with an 8-hour daywork day on top of that, you're too busy to be bored. :D

This sounds so VERY familiar - there's a reason I have the game on my laptop. I would take it downstairs to the kitchen and trade while I'm doing dishes and laundry. Those long hauls from Edinburgh to New Berlin and back (under the old trading system) would be boring - but as long as you're doing something else, it's okay.
