MB, if they're not computer-savy enough...lulz at them.

A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.

Not everyone is as computer savy as those who recognized your little "joke" it is highly possible someone may try to do such a thing, after following your advice.

Uhhh...if somebody actually tries that then maybe it's a good thing. They'll learn a lot about operating systems.

It wont let you do it anyway, as it will give you a warning
and tell you your PC will become unstable if deleted etc etc.

But still its a ?hitty thing to post.

If you have never been in the system files before, there are warnings. If you have, you know what they do. If you don't you should not be using a computer, or take the time to correct the issue yourself so you know for next time.

Files are safe or at least, recoverable. I suggest consulting your friend GB He holds more information on the subject.

Just goes to show the type of people that frequent these boards I suppose. In the end, it doesn't effect me at all, as even if I was that gullible, my main Operating system is Ubuntu.

But trust me.. there are people who won't read the warnings and do it anyways.

All you need is one kid to screw up his computer, and then what? You all laugh at his lack of knowledge? Make fun of him for trusting something you said? Kinda makes it so anything you guys say afterward can't really be trusted.
