' Wrote:The Legionnaire problem is a lot worse when ya consider what a lvl 9 player is shooting them with. Drails? Dublin Dusters? I've spent over an hour on lowbie anti-corsair missions. Signing up for those is just begging for carpal tunnel syndrome. And yet you have to take them to keep your rep in shape (unless you're going corsair axis). Very annoying.

Creampuff: You don't have to do missions against the Corsairs to get them mad at you -- attack their allies. Do missions in Bretonia against the Gaians; Do missions for Kishiro (at their headquarters in New Tokyo) or Interspace Commerce (at Roppongi Station) against the Hogosha and/or Farmers Alliance. If you can't hit a Hogosha CSV, then you've got a serious problem with accuracy!
Ya, corsair npcs specifically tend to jump for me way more than any other fighter. Outcast Daggers not too bad, but legionaires feel like they have a teleport built into their ships, lol. Not precisely sure why they jump the most compared to other ships.
Maybe they have a lack of Cardamine... NOT THAT I'VE EVER... you know...

I agree. And you get to travel a bit. But, back to the original question - what is your ping ?? Lag issues made me experience this same problem more than once...

I think the problem is worse with legionaires because they use their thruster so much. Constantly. Mix that in with their duck and weave AI and you've got a perfect teleport storm if there's any lag. Makes you wish you could "admin kill" them to get your mission over with:)
In unbeatable missions like that I found that the quickest way to terminate them without negative reprecussions is to F1.. A bit more dangerous (risking your death) with the F1 timer though now.
`the NPC's here are better than some people......like you, apperantly.`
Not so. They did absolutely no damage to me at all. It was just very annoying to have them jump about in such a strange and un-spaceship like fashion. Especially as they were supposedly such a low level.
