That's a cruel thing to say. I guess I'm that adjective but I know I'm not even close to some pirates that camped penn and kusari when the great rush was active.

I even refused to make a char to pirate there.
Still made 2bil.

Mining used to be more profitable than Trading... But now, it's just way riskier and with nearly same profit if not lower. When you Mine, you have to sit in the same place for at least half an hour, which makes you really easy target for Pirates (Specially the Nice ones who F1 in the field just to come back in every hour or two), But when trading, if you know a pirate is sitting in Location X of System Y, you can just go around him without him even noticing!

Now, which one is better? An Hour of Mining where you make 35mils, and you get pirated 5 times for 10 millions each, or an Hour of Trading where you make 30mils, and you can avoid Pirates and even if you get pirated its for 2 millions each?

I meant them, don't worry. The mentality I experience from miners nowadays leaves me with decent profit too, thou I only run into some occasionally.
