I'm assuming he wants it for a screen shot or something.. or just doesn't know that the IFF flashes in the repsheet.

Regardless... this is a way to transfer gear between accounts if nobody is there to help. (Risky though)

This won't work. F1'ing in space causes a temporary delay (1 minute(?)) on your account to be activated, in which time nobody is able to log onto this account and your ship stays still in space for this amount of time. So by the time the delayed has passed and you log into another character your original F1'd character will be long gone.
