Yes, I understand that, just wanna make sure that someone of the devs notices this thread. If you say "no, it can't be done" then we get along with it.

.exe hacks in particular are very technical things. The forefront authority on that is Adoxa, like I said. If you want to get it done, might be worth making an account on the Starport and asking there. Making lots of noise here won't get you very far.

Hm, I don't know about a *new* category, but it might be possible to have
the current ship one toggle between all and player-only. That is, when
the game starts, selecting the ship filter will show all ships (although I
could probably have an option to start with players). Selecting the ship
filter again will then show only the players. Once more will go back to all,
and so on. Unfortunately, I'm on a break from FL, so I don't know when I'll
get around to it...

Most interesting, sah, I'm sure it doesn't need a serverside install, 90% sure it won't get you banned for using it, but those 10% look scary enough for me anyway.
It's another DLL entering the process space. It'd definately be picked up on, and most likely get you kicked for an invalid install. That said, I'll tag this and we'll see about getting it implemented. No promises.
