Also, corporations are not above smuggling. They just make sure they don't get caught because there's more at stake for them as an organization if they do.

Edit: Though it's mostly independents that do smuggle. When an official faction wants to smuggle goods out of a system, you don't see it happen. Or you see the Zoners do it for them;)

With the money you make on copper, its well worth it to head the opposite direction.

O7 -> O3 (Cambridge JH) -> Cambridge (Leeds JH) -> Leeds (Magellan JH) -> Magellan -> California (Texas JH) -> Texas (Houston)

As well, you can tell all those stodgy rheinland lawfuls that your selling it at BPA Newgate.

Just watch for pirates in Magellan.

True, but: There are smart people who have a ship stationed near Houston, waiting for Copper smugglers. Screenshot, sell it to Rheinis... and you are in trouble on your smuggler char. So... don't count on this "safe" route, it protects you a little, but not until the end.

The way i see it is this:
It is against rheinland law, not Liberty/Bretonian/Kusari. So if you have these ID's you are from there, and not breaking "YOUR" laws. So if not caught? then not smuggling.
Take real life for example: "I AM CANADIAN!" I got many tickets in the USA. How many I paid? 0! Why? they cannot trace Canadian license, or come after you/hold your license renewal.

Complete invalid argument. That doesn`t work in EU.

However, that question is answered, as long as noone sees it you`re fine. :$

Thank you guys

So? If it actually is a smuggler, as in not faction tagged, then being in trouble is just part of the game.

Besides, according to everyone but Kruger, its only against the law to smuggle it over the Rhein-Liberty border - so that information should be worthless unless it comes with proof you went over the border with it - if you went the backroads, and theres no proof you did otherwise, whose to say WHAT you did?

Truth being, the only ones who make such a big deal about copper, IS Kruger - afterall, there members built an alt faction of rules breaking vigilante ID'd ships just for the sole purpose of shooting anyone not kruger tagged mining it, for whatever reason they please.
