I used to pay little Defenders/Patriots 1m or so to escort my trader (I was in a Whale) from Manhattan to Cortez.. it was fun, and since my whale was defenseless, they'd destroy any of the NPCs we ran into ("Rogues sighted! Engaging!")... luckily, there were no real pirates around.
I think I'll make a new character and start doing that again... yay for inspiration!
I do try to help out those newbies I see doing a fantastic job RPing. (Wonder how many of them are regulars...?)
