What PvP abuse? Bounty hunters still, like mercs/freelancers, can be hired on place, to help in combat/escort/whatever. If I didn't miss anything, but I guess I did not.

Last I heard, you cannot shout out an assassination order. You can hire an escort to defend you from attack, or you can post a bounty on the boards here (the only legitimate type), but you cannot hire somebody on the spot to kill somebody else. Now if somebody's ID allows them to attack somebody else anyway they can certainly do it if it overlaps with your desire, but you can't just shout out "hey 2 mill to kill this fool" and pay whoever does it. Or more to the point, having somebody shout it out does not give you the ability to attack the target as an alternative to the restrictions on your ID--as a freelancer or bounty hunter or whatever, you are still bound to the ID, regardless of the shout. Maybe I heard wrong, would like to know if so.

Ursus no read rules/bounties, or even topic's. He just pics a post, and spams off of it.

You can Yell in main anytime you want. "2 mil on (name)" then all BH's/mercs around you,and (name) can start shooting him. Been that way for quite some time now. No bounty post needed. When it is needed is if you decide you want someone not on,in system your in dead. If you announce a bounty on someone publically and they can see it as well as hunters it is on.

3. Mercenaries, freelancers and bounty hunters may be hired on the spot in game to assist with a combat without a forum post. The other parties involved in the combat must be made aware of this.

Point 3 depends on interpretation of "to assist with combat" I suppose. My understanding is that it is only parties who are already legally engaged. Coming into a sector and yelling "who wants me to kill these guys" when they aren't doing anything is abuse, so is standing at Manhattan and yelling "2 mill for a blue message on these guys". Engagements that are not underway already fall under point 1

The Corsair ID allows piracy anywhere. It also allows them to engage ships WITHOUT pirating first, but only within the ZOI, which is defined here.

If we use common sense, you can pirate only in your zoi. But alright, you want rulelayering? Okey. Yes, you can demand credits and cargo anywhere, but you cannot shoot those who refuse to pay.

I mean, look, sair id:

- May engage in piracy.

and now, pirate id:

- Can demand cargo and credits from lawful and unlawful ships, and attack them if they do not comply.

Sure rulelayering is fun, but be warned, common sense usually overrides it, and while people who deal with sanctions are not always too bright individually, together they can sum 2 and 2.
