Corsair rep with Unioners

I noticed my corsair ship sees Unioner bases as neutral and is even able to land on them. He is fully hostile to all of the other Hessian allies so this seems wrong to me. Is it a bug or design

Unknown...I think the Unioners used to be allied with the Corsairs a while back, but have taken up a neutral standing towards them as of late... however I do not know for sure... likely a feature if it is that close to being hostile but not entirely there yet.

Liberty Rogues are neutral to him too. According to the Wiki the LR are fully hostile to the Corsairs, and this ship is fully hostile to the Outcasts so it should be all red to LR also.

What Kikatsu said - the Unioners used to be close allies of the Sairs.

I myself used to be a member of a short lived, unofficial Unioner faction which still had close ties with the sairs in 4.85.

It would seem that no rephacks were added in 4.86 to void that underdeveloped relationship as my ships from that period still have full guard reps for both the Unioners and Sairs - come to think of it, anyone up for a 'Syndicate' revival?

No Bugs there. Wiki is kinda Meh. It shows Mollys allied with RM for example - it need fixing,however I does not have time for it.
In RP:
Corsairs are Rogue smuggler partners. As prime Artifact suppliers Rogues would be mad to shoot them, they do deal with them.
Corsairs use secretly Unioner Bases in Rheinland as staging ground.
Unioners as far as I know are buddies with Hessians and with Corsairs, however they hide their Corsair connection.

Liberty Rogues are not hostile to the Corsairs (they sometimes do business in artifacts with them), but they don't particularly like the Corsairs all the same. However, the Rogues are a pragmatic bunch and will basically do business with anyone who will throw money their way. The Unioners have moved to a more neutral stance over the years but still do business with them and sometimes act as go betweens for the Rogues and Corsairs when the situation calls for it.

Outcasts and Hessians of course are still deadly hostile to the Corsairs.

Okay thanks. Kind of surprising because all of the other hessian and outcast allies are super hostile.

I was hoping to knock some LR with this ship but will go to Plan B since they are kinda allied. I'll take full advantage of the unioner opportunity.

The Corsair-unioner relationship is being rekindled and it is now a "friendly" relationship with lots of business oppertunities. . The unioners have been reselling artifacts to the Rogues(same smuggling route as blood diamonds thingies)

Rogues never meet any corsairs so why would they be hostile.

Ofcourse this is being kept Hush Hush as to not let the hessians and outcasts find out
