What about a ship, mabye a version of the repair ship, with unique weapons with VERY little range so that you have to fly up to them to use them, can heal ships?
Imagine flying up to a gunboat, battleship, or whatever and healing it. No range will mean limited combat use,but would be useful. No weapons, to.
and LOTS of nano's to resupply ships? Would be a useful support ship?
It's somewhat hard to restrict certain weapons to certain ships.. usually it's done by making the class higher and higher (GB->Cruiser->BS), but for this? It'd be kinda hard. Yeah, I'd love the idea since I just made a repair ship character myself, but it seems somewhat hard to code.
well, if everything works out fine, - i ll submit a big repair ship in x.85 - of course that is more a classic repair ship ( no repair gun but only tons of bats/bots )
but it should be more useful than the current one.
suggested to have 4-6 transport turrets with corresponding energy source
suggested 6500 bats / bots
CM, no CD
suggested very low agility and a big target hitbox
along with the current repair ship ( vanilla ship ) thats the closest we can get to a repair ship. i think its been mentioned that we will not get a repair beam, whatsoever.
i think the current repair ship is just fine, LSF has one ( goodwrench) and it works great. And the current amount of bots/bats it holds is fine aswell, Was able to refill the goliath about 3-4 times if i remember correctly
