What is the period of time we are talking about here?
The Cold War spanned a period of several decades. The relatively short length of time for the Kusari-Bretonia war means that government bureaucracy would not have time to write suitable material for the school curriculum.
Where you are more likely to see an impact is in the general media, as well as government propaganda.
During the war the "Kusari Hun!" would have been plastered all over the place - how they are portrayed now has yet been established by the Bretonian factions. That being said, the current unwelcome status of anything Kusari-related does not bode well for warm relation in the forseeable future.

ah indeed, but im sure liberty and indeed bretonia itself has its vast share of Kusarian immigrants that may have lived before hostilities, resturant owners, as well as other small businesses probably, or just families living there. i wouldnt be surprised if they were harrased or worse in such times.
I just wonder about it, also with the time the war was on, i kinda forget about how long it was in roleplay.. how long was it?

The Bretonian-Kusari war technically started in 810 with the BMM-IMG dispute. Kusari deploys forces in Tau-29 in 813 A.S. with official declaration of war happening in 814. The war ended with the Gallic invasion of Sirius in 819.
The war has cost many space marines on both sides - but the messy ground conflict never took off between Kusari and Bretonia. This limited the conflict largely to spaceship versus spaceship, and in terms of lives lost for the houses, not very siginificant numbers (spacecraft/resources lost is another matter).
Bretonian pride took a bit of a beating, but I think their hatred of Gallia (the new agressor) kind of overshadows their feelings against Kusari citizens. In Kusari itself it's probably even less of an issue. Kusari society has xenophobic tendencies to begin with, and their side was the winning one in the Bret/Kus conflict.

Don't worry about what the books might say a thousand years from now. At least, not yet...Textbooks don't define the present very well anyway, so the best way to imagine what can happen in the future between different peoples within a society is to look back at what happened in the past.
It doesn't matter if it was 10,000 years ago or 10,000 years from now...human nature always remains the same. The only things that change are clocks & tech.
Pick any war from any time in any country & you can't help but notice familiar commonalities between past & present.
Draw on your own experience. Did'ja/doya attend school during a time of war? . How have you treated people you've met from an opposing country? More than that, what did you think of them before actually meeting them?
Take that & split the opinions at least 3 ways (pro-anti-indifferent) & divide that by the saturation of governmental propaganda of the winning side.
& poof! before you know it, you'll have this social climate thing all figured out.
There is no doubt that the Bretonian people do not trust the Kusarians all the time. Kids that lost loved ones would most likely take one of two paths. One- Want revenge. Two- Fear that the kusari navy will take more of their loved ones. Either way it dosn't show iRP.
