Allow me to play the part of a villain & ask, nevermind about all the others who have tried to play the part before you...what is it exactly that you think you could do better with it up to now?
Let's face it, people who gravitate to wanting to play established, primary game characters either don't have the imagination to create their own characters, or have large enough delusions of their own talent or worth that they feel that their version would somehow be the continuation of everything that has come before beyond anyone else.
I'm just sayin'...but forget about why the others feel the need to latch onto the Trent character over the many moons...what is it about you that makes you needy enough to play that specific character?
What is it in your mind that says, I deserve above all else to play the main character of the base game?

i never wrote,that I deserve above all else to play it.
but it would be apreciated,if i ever could.
i played freelancer for 10 years now,maybe less.
and in all those years,i never came up with the idear to use it.
just intill i started playing here realy.
and if i remember correctly,i whas indeed able to do so.
but then i deleted it for some reason or another.
when i tryed to re-create it one year ago i think,i found out it whas already in use by someone else.
to bad for me,but now i realy have the desire to give it another go.
i rememeber having created the character Cpt.Edison.trent,but that just didnt look to good in my eye,s.
so i deleted it,and gave up on ever being able to use the original character again.
just untill now that is,as you all just noticed.
the ammount of money i offer,has no value to me at all.
i would be more then happy to give up everything i own,in order to obtain the trent character
no question about it,i would just do exactly that.
and would i indeed be able to re-own that character now,it is actualy my goal to do the needed RP.
i realy do live up to the moment,that i would be able to receive the character Edison.trent
and i,m not trying to over-react here,but the RP subject is something i would take great care about.
at the end of the story however its just an game,and i,m just another player that lives up to his needs.
and as i sertainly aint king or queen around here,i must follow the rules as they are wrote down for me.
its the RP side from this request what people are trying to enforce on me,if i read the comments so far.
i fully understand this part,and hope to have this well explained in my own words.
this is not about "just" owning another charcter,this is about actualy "live" Edison.Trent.

You have just as much right to role play him as any of us do nor should it matter if someone else is role playing him already. This is because no one player can claim ownership over a character they did not create.
Course, I am of the opinion that no one should be role playing any of the SP characters as they prime characters within Disco lore and not something anyone other than the development team should have control over.

I've seen many Edison Trents already, also Trent Edisons, E. Trents or just E. T.s
Just make one of those lines, and you make another trent into Disco trent family.
