What happens when that fun your after so much ingame ruins fun for a new player? is that fair?. I don't believe so, if your fun is ruining someone else's then theres something wrong.
Ive personally had no run ins with your char but thats the jist i get from this thread.
I have a lot to say about mon star. First off, Calus says hello:D. "List of i dont give a hoot" i think was the reply? Secondly, he is doing his job correctly. People obviously hate him. Your doing just fine, dont let these people that you ARE terrorizing make you worry about your RP. If they dont see that your doing your job, then they need to reread their posts.
They hate your character because of how you play him.
Terrorists are hated because of how they act.
they hate mon star = mon star is a hated terrorist
No offense intended by this at all guys, I like all of you that have posted. Seriously though, do not call bad rp at someone and then say "ill just ignore him". Crazy guy shooting all your npcs, "nope not there".
Huh?
Chase him, if he is not going to fight let him run. You do not have to chase him across Sirius if he is fleeing.
Him running away and making you all angry is exactly what a terrorist would want. Oh darn, he blew up a bunch of defenseless innocents, then he ran away before we could get revenge? That dirty snot!
Now i have been staring at this text box for an hour trying to think of a nice way to say it. There really is not one...
Quit being selfish, please. This is not your personal place for enjoyment. There are a lot more people here that deserve better treatment than personal vendettas to be rid of players because of personal disagreement with how things should be. We have enough people feeling unwanted already. Now even though i feel that you guys are selfish and self centered at times, i still like you guys and girls. I don't want to have to change my opinion of you.
To Dreygon. I love mon star. Even if i will never get to kill him, he is the ONE character that i see log on and think about what systems to avoid. The times that i have fought him have not been a problem for my characters, im not afraid of his character out of game, but in game he creeps Katharina right the hell out, my junker wont go near him unless i have to, my trader avoids systems he is in, and my nibblz searcher idolizes the man and mon star would still shoot him.
I have seen mon star's ship four times total. Two on my RM, once on nibblz hunter, once on my junker. Infamy, and i help spread it on the server when on an applicable character.

I Love Mon'Star's roleplay. His RP is an unusual flavor, but since when is there anything wrong with being a serial killer? We have C'Tan and Communist terrorists, why not a couple Serial Killers? What about Doom, then, should we take his ID, too? Heck, let's just remove the SCRA, Phantoms, TAZ, BSG, AW, Anybody who's not Freelancer-original, to bugger off! Dreygon, whateer they say, Mon'Star has a booth at Malta's bar as long as I have a presence there.

Erm i don't think anyone hates "him" and i don't think anyone thats posted here has a personal vendetta against him, he asked for peoples opinions and he got them, he can either take them or leave them.
I don't hate him, ive never even met the guy ingame, why would i hate him?, just from what ive got from his posts it seemed as if his attitude was "as long as he's having fun ingame, who cares if the other players are". Killing people just over the killing level in a cruiser is going to annoy allot of these new players and i really don't think this server needs that.
It's not that I hate him. I hardly ever see him. Probably in different time zones... It's just that I frown on killing people just over the level.
But umm... Can we clarify why an Outcast who was gunned down then... Umm... Tested on? Right... Why is he psycho? I understand the power of his cybernetic arm or whatever went to his head... But I hardly think that going, "*smash throat* I like" would make him go, "DIE DIE DIE! Bwah ha ha... My... Cybernetic... Turrets. Woo... umm *cough* Woo hoo."
Can anybody help me understand this aspect?... But overall I remain neutral. I could care less about what goes on with him... 'Cause again; I never see him.
He kills those people to cause the local authorities to show up so he can laugh at their inability to stop his actions.
Not because he just wants to pwn the newbies.
And no, i do not think people hate dreygon. This is however based on personal disagreement with his story and style. I don't see factual instances of any wrongs, just "i don't like it". The killing of newer players is a much smaller issue than people are trying to make it. He blows them up once if they cross paths. He does not HUNT new people and grief them like it is seeming to be lead to. Not intentionally lead to, but accidentally misunderstood as.

I would love too. There was a man in Ohio that grew up killing neighbors dogs. He enjoyed killing things. He then obtained a rifle, and started shooting hunters and fisherman in the back. He wrote letters to the newspaper to confess to the killings anonymously, and wrote about how he loved the kill. There are sickos in real life, there are sickos in freelancer.

I have never had a problem with Mon'Star's role play, however I have noticed that it is very one sided.
Role play is not an act, it is an interaction, and as such it needs all sides to work with interact and respect each others role play.
As the server works, you can not expect all those around you to immediately become secondary to your role play, just because you are a psychopath or a terrorist, you must give others and opportunity to interact, have an effect on the situation, and enjoy the encounter.
If you do this, you may even find you enjoy it more as well.
the terrorist ID in my opinion, is not an excuse to take over any situation, it is just a way of being unpredictable, and adding some spice into the role play situations you enter into.

Good point. I think this is the problem people have with his targetting of NPCs. It feels like he could be doing this in single-player, laughing at how easy it is to shoot starfliers.
