' Wrote:But the LN should have learned to keep an eye on their hightech stuff, and losing the Spyglass is a very very strange thing. Though the hackers are very good at uhm, hacking. Weird, but alright.
We all have to stop reasoning as if the Hackers stole the Spyglass in the first place. That is [HF] lore and the infocard was supposed to say "Hellfire Legion" instead of "Lane Hackers" but then... Ooooh god this story again.
But nomads steal from RM and KNF too. And the LN stole that RM battleship in Hamburg. And Juni and King stole their ship form the LSF. And liberty and the ORder steal tech from the nomads. And macintosh allegedly stole that chip design from someone, I forgot who. And china steals every design they can get their hands on. On time a LN guy tried to steal my LSF's minirazor, but returned it after I had insulted him sufficiently.
Why exactly are you annoyed?
Looks like I cant help you if you arent more specific.
EDIT: And the Phantoms! Those thugs stole "their" ships from the Firebase Ship Pack, AND from other players who were flying them. I heard heart-wrenching stories about slipstreams being bastilled without even being allowed to transfer the money they got from selling the mk8 armor to another ship. It's a mean ol' world out there, Joe.
' Wrote:Tbh the spyglass should get a new name in 4.86 and new info card so it won't appear as "stolen in Liberty" (made in Liberty)
It is getting a new one, IIRC, since HF get Vespucci all to themselves, and their own tech line. Hacker Spyglasses (which never existed anyway) will be a thing of the past.
' Wrote:There are plenty more examples of this... But in all honesty, I'm starting to get very slightly tired of it. It seems like if you're lacking something, anything at all, then Liberty is the place to steal it from. If you were to compare the amount of stuff stolen from each of the houses, you would find Liberty comes out top of the "most stolen from" list.
LNS- security.
Seriously though, beyond Gallia (all Council ships are stolen from GRN... kinda dwarfs the LN's losses) Liberty has the biggest military IRPly. There's bound to be a few incidents in a nation that has no small measure of corruption, being the corporate democracy that it is.
