here are two comparison shots ( front and top ) - compared to the "best" sirian bombers - and the most likely opponent.
one should still be aware that the ships vary in agility stats of course - as well as bots/bats, armour and weaponmounts.
there are also light bombers that are significantly larger than the brigand bomber ( FA bomber is large, BHG bomber is large, roc is large, havoc is huge... )

The Barghest is considered subpar to most other bomber technologies lore wise, even if it is so heavy (it'd be a thousand times more efficient to just use an automated torpedo platforms rather than a Barghest which risks the life of 3 Rogues at once, but the Rogues do not have access to these.), and the Hessians have the logistics of defecting armies behind them, as well as being the most populous unlawful faction which isn't a mini-house.
The Brigands are not. They're more like Rogues, building scrapped stuff with scrap in scrap fields with no ship yards. Heck, the Rogues got a shipyard, the Brigands do not. They gotta build their ships with no support in space. That's how desperate they are. The Council won't let them field anything larger than a spatioport planetside to prevent from having a Criminal empire forming against them.
Corse ships are nothing more than custom builds made out of standard Brigand ships (considering their privilegied position and different space needs, this isn't very far fetched), which is why they're rarer than the standard Brigand models.
