Indeed, I like what you're doing, though, they're all right, the font is godawful -.- If you finish this and make it a mod, send it to us, please? Floodly Seal of Approval granted.

I don't know... I like the font. It isn't the most practical font but its fun. It makes it look like those cartoony games like Evil Genius and Team Fortress 2.
Personally, if i could customize anything, it would be the crosshair and targeting blip. I am partially colorblind and have trouble keeping up with it. I can do it myself, i just need some guidance (a tutorial perhaps?). Thank you.

Everyone likes to shoot a man down.
Exactly!-- I just like the cartoony look. Kinda reminds me of 8-bit Theater although that used a different font. Thanks for the support:)

I haven't found a way to effectively change the color or size of the reticule and targeting blip. It is possible to change the targeting reticule to a small extent by altering the tgas stored in the cursor.txm file in the SCREENS directory. However, once the reticule is moved over a target it reverts to default shape and color.
I suspect the settings for both the reticule and targeting blip are hard coded, but I'll keep trying to figure out how to modify them. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Alright, here are the files for the UI and HUD changes I've done so far. I'm providing these so that any developers can take a look at them and ensure they don't conflict with Discovery. I'm confident that they don't but hearing an OK would set my mind at ease. I do apologize if I'm not supposed to post these files without permission.
If you decide to use this mod, your font will NOT be changed. I just wanted to get that out there to begin with.:)It uses your default font.
BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL FILES! Copy the entire DATA folder and keep it somewhere safe. The files which are altered are in the INTERFACE directory. The file SCREENS\cursor.txm is also altered. Nothing else is changed. Feel free to look around the zip to confirm this.
There's no installer -- you just extract them into your Freelancer directory (i.e. "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer"), click "Overwrite: Yes to All," and you're good to go. This does require the original UI and HUD elements to be in place so if you're not overwriting anything, you've done something wrong.
The first UI mod is Sleek Black. It's a pretty simple mod that changes the color scheme to a nice dark scheme and not much else.
The second is Steel and Black-- it's pretty much the same as Sleek Black but the navigation bars and icons are inlaid on steel and look rusty when selected. I thought it might be a nice motif for Junkers:
I stand by my first statement, but add, excellent work:)My desire is along CYLON lines. If your up for it, of course. In addition, your position on waiting for officialdom sanction I understand completely. However, if you desire a retainer to provide for design samples, I am willing to dicker on acceptable price.
